Psychotherapy

I utilize a holistic approach to psychotherapy that incorporates skills from CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and psychodynamic principles to help decrease anxiety, improve mood and increase feelings of confidence, self worth and self efficacy. My practice focuses on helping individuals with a broad range of mental health disorders and in particular anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety, social phobia, specific phobia, obsessive compulsive disorder, trichotillomania, skin picking disorder, insomnia and those with life stressors.

Psychopharmacology

If psychotherapy alone is not adequate to help you feel well then medications may help. If medications are recommended, I will provide you with the information needed to make an informed decision about which medication is right for you. I take a conservative approach to medication striving to find the best possible medication match that is both tolerable and beneficial. We will meet regularly to manage your medication based on your individual needs and response to medication(s)
